Our History
Martinavarro was born in 1946 from the merge of three family businesses. We are the citrus European leader. We combine tradition with new talent.
1946
The Ballester, Dealbert and Martinavarro families creates the company and start exporting fruit to wholesalers.
1960
By establishing direct relationships and partnerships with the European retailers, we become citrus leaders in Spain.
1970
We foster innovation, industrialization and efficiency in our packing processes.
1990
We expand our agricultural presence to the rest of Spain, investing in large orchads in Andalucía.
2007
An external management team joins the company, applying the Total Quality Management model and Lean Manufacturing as a process management tool.
2016
We join forces with other leading fruit specialists to create Citri&Co
